Installing Diana from Launchpad

Diana is available as a set of packages from Launchpad. For users of Ubuntu, installing these packages is the easiest way to install Diana.

Obtain the apt-add-repository tool from the software-properties-common package:

sudo apt-get install software-properties-common

Add the Diana and Fimex repositories to the system:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:diana-deployment/trusty
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:heiko-klein/fimex

It should then be possible to update the system sources and install packages:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install diana-3.39 dianamaps metno-bufrtables
