If the default values for tablepath and/or which table(s) to use don't work for you, you should provide these as arguments to bufrresolve.pl, like in the following command to display the meaning of a local table B descriptor (012241):

bufrresolve.pl 012241 --tablepath ~/tables --bufrtable B0000023600078013008.TXT
